About this notice
This notice applies to information collected through the IEP website, including the request form. It does not describe every record IEP may maintain through an offline customer, supplier, employment or service relationship.
01
Information we collect
Information you choose to send
When you submit the request form, IEP may collect the information you enter or attach.
- Contact and company information
- Name, company, email address and phone number.
- Request information
- Request type, manufacturer, model, serial or part number, application details and the message you submit.
- Files
- Photos, drawings, PDFs, nameplates, resumes or other files you choose to upload.
Information collected when the site is used
IEP records limited first-party usage information, including the page visited, broad device type, referring website hostname, country, campaign parameters and whether a quote, phone or email link was selected. This measurement does not include the contents of your form submission.
Like most hosted websites, the site's hosting and security systems may also process technical request data such as IP address, browser or device information, request time and security events. A short-term video diagnostic collects additional browser and playback details only when an IEP testing link specifically enables it.
02
How we use information
- Review and respond to equipment, parts, service, manufacturer, career or other requests.
- Identify equipment and parts using the specifications, photos and documents provided.
- Maintain records related to a customer, supplier, service or employment inquiry.
- Operate, troubleshoot, secure and improve the website and request process.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect IEP, its customers and other users.
IEP does not use website information for an unrelated purpose without an appropriate reason or permission.
03
Analytics, cookies and form security
First-party site measurement
The site uses limited, first-party event measurement to understand page visits and the use of contact links. It does not set an analytics cookie, build advertising profiles or track visitors across other websites.
Google Analytics
On our public site, we use Google Analytics to measure visits and understand how visitors navigate. Google Analytics may use cookies and receive browser and page activity data. Read how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Cloudflare Turnstile
When the contact page loads protected contact details or you interact with the request form, Cloudflare Turnstile may evaluate browser and device signals to distinguish people from automated traffic. IEP sends the resulting security token and the request IP address to Cloudflare for verification. Turnstile does not receive the message or files entered into the form. Read the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Website fonts
The site serves its fonts from the same website. Loading the typeface does not require a request to Google Fonts.
04
Sharing, security and retention
When information is shared
IEP may share information with service providers that host, secure, maintain or support the website and its request system. Cloudflare provides the site's hosting, security, database, private file storage and Turnstile services. Authorized IEP personnel and service providers receive access only when needed to operate the site or handle a request.
IEP may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition or transfer of the business. IEP does not sell personal information.
Security
Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS. Uploaded files are stored in private cloud storage, and access to inquiry records is restricted to authorized users. No system can guarantee absolute security, so the request form should not be used for highly sensitive personal information.
Retention
IEP keeps inquiry records and attachments for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain related business or service records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the site. The period varies depending on whether a request becomes part of an ongoing customer, supplier, service or employment record. When information is no longer needed, IEP may delete or de-identify it.
Limited site-usage events and security records are retained according to IEP's operational needs and the retention settings of the systems that process them.
05
Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on applicable law, you may ask IEP to confirm whether it holds personal information about you and request access, correction, deletion or a portable copy. You may also request information about third parties to which personal information was disclosed.
Use the contact form to describe the information and action requested. IEP may need to verify your identity before acting and may retain information when the law permits or requires it.
If IEP denies a request, you may reply to the decision and ask for an appeal. IEP will review the request again and explain the result.
Children's information
This business website is not directed to children under 13, and IEP does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact IEP to request its removal.
06
Changes to this notice
IEP may update this notice when the website or its information practices change. The "Last updated" date will identify the current version. If a change materially affects how previously collected personal information is used, IEP will provide additional notice when reasonably required.
