About the equipment

Ampco Pumps equipment for industrial applications.

Ampco's pump and blending equipment serves food, dairy, beverage and other processing applications. Choosing between a centrifugal pump and a positive-displacement design starts with the liquid: viscosity, temperature, solids, cleaning requirements and the required operating flow all matter.

The AC/AC+ centrifugal range uses a sanitary design with stainless-steel wetted components. For an existing installation, the pump model, connection size, seal arrangement and operating duty help establish the replacement or parts requirement. Confirm compatibility for the particular installation rather than relying on appearance alone.

The AL Series is a rotary-lobe positive-displacement range. The open-cover image below shows its pumping elements. For this type of inquiry, describe the product's viscosity and any sensitivity to shear, along with the flow, pressure and cleaning process.

Ampco also supplies ingredient-mixing and blending equipment. The AC+ Dry Blender shown below combines dry ingredients and liquid through a hopper-fed system. Tell us what ingredients you need to combine, the liquid conditions, batch or continuous process, and available space.
